Job Purpose
dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across five continents. We operate in 38 countries and 136 airports globally. As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for complete day to day stores activities in dTS Stores from receiving of items to issue to customers, ensuring all policies and procedures are fulfilled while receiving, binning and issuing items and ensuring utmost accuracy in recording all stores transactions in system.
In This role, you will:
• Consistent monitoring of inventory levels to achieve minimum stock holding cost by ensuring prompt stock replenishment. He needs to ensure that replenishment of stocks for all dTS stores is being done accurately and on-time.
• Responsible for day-to-day storekeeping activities including receipt, binning and issue. Inspecting the received parts to ensure that they are correct as per order, are free from damage and meet all the company specifications.
• Monitoring of GRN activities to ensure that all GRN activities are completed/actioned and no received items are left without raising GRN.
• Ensure that life expiry dates of consumables with expiry life are properly monitored, recorded and actioned by ensuring that life expired parts are removed from storage and disposed.
• Management of Parts received with discrepancy by developing a bi-weekly monitoring report of rejected parts in the quarantine area. Liaise with the Vendors and arrange to return and replace the rejected parts.
• Assist Senior Storekeeper in maintaining stock at correct levels with a view to minimise stock holding costs through analysis of store inventory reports.
• Organise deliveries to various stores in DXB and DWC to ensure that items are available to enable proper operation in user departments.
• Assist in conducting periodic physical stock checks, identifying any discrepancies and forwarding any discrepancies identified to the Stores Officer with recommendations.
• Conducting periodic cyclic/ spot checks and ensuring that discrepancies identified are rectified. • Knowledge and experience using a Maintenance Management System and experience in all stores transactions in an Engineering Store.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirememts: • 10 years schooling or equivalent with computer proficiency in MS Office applications. • Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills and ensure amicable customer relations with all customers. • 3+ Years experience in stores working in Stores / Warehouse • Experience in working with Maintenance Management System
